Sunday, October 5th, 2014: Danny Espinosa of the Portland Beavers proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Pacific Conference Outstanding Hitter Award.
Espinosa hit for a .273 average while collecting 127 hits, 27 doubles, 6 triples, 23 home runs, 84 RBIs and scoring 117 times.

Sunday, October 5th, 2014: The American Conference has made it official -- Jean Segura is the winner of the Outstanding Hitter Award.
In the 2014 season, the Round Rock second baseman stood out with a .327 batting average, 28 doubles, 3 triples, 18 home runs and 76 RBIs. Segura also had 48 walks, posted a .393 on-base percentage and scored 95 times.

Saturday, October 4th, 2014: Stolmy Pimentel of the Tacoma Rainiers is in the spotlight today. The bullpen ace was named as the #1 pitcher in the Pacific Conference and will receive the 2014 Outstanding Pitcher Award.
He compiled a 8-0 record and an ERA of 3.25 in 61 innings with 93 strikeouts. Pimentel nailed down 40 saves in 47 save opportunities.
